Hello and welcome to Project Hack! This is my blog dedicated to GM advice, RPG hacking, and improving our beloved hobby! Whether you're just starting out as a GM or you're a veteran looking for tips to hone your craft, I hope you'll find something here you can use. I’ve been writing campaign material and running and playing role-playing games for over 35 years, using over a dozen different game systems (way more if you count the various different editions of some of the most popular RPG systems). I love the craft, and I love discussing and helping friends work on their campaigns. So I like to yammer, and hopefully you’re here because you like to read, learn, and apply the lessons of someone who’s made every GM mistake in the book and some that I had to hunt down on my own!
